In 1999, Rosemary lent her name and her talent to the "Rescue the Russell" project in her hometown of Maysville, Kentucky. The project is a fundraising effort aimed at restoring the theatre where her first movie "The Stars are Singing" premiered in 1953. The First Annual Rosemary Clooney Music Festival took place under the stars near the Russell Theater and saw Rosemary performing to a sold out crowd. Plans are now underway for the Fifth Annual Rosemary Clooney Music Festival.
These items are sure to become collector's items that every Rosemary Clooney fan should have.
